Linux

• Chromium – Browser which on Ubuntu is just a customised version of Google Chrome
• Banshee – Not sure about this one yet but it’ll do for now
• Pidgin – IM client to connect to MSN and almost any IM network
• Filezilla – Fast FTP client

Mac OS X

• Adium – IM client to connect to MSN and almost any IM network
• Cyberduck FTP – Pretty and useful FTP client
• TunesArt – Get covers and lyrics
• Max – Convert/Transcode between different encodings of sound files
• Colloquy – IRC client
• GMail Notifier – To notify me when I have new email
• Growl – for pretty notifications that can be triggered from any application
• Perian – Codecs for watching movies
• Burn – For burning CD’s and DVD’s
• Spotify – Finding new music
• Twitter for Mac – My favorite Twitter application
• TextWrangler – Text editor
• Boxer - The DOS game emulator that’s fit for your Mac.
• InstantShot! – Easy application to make screenshots.
• Homebrew - Package manager to install some tools mostly coming from the Linux community
• ClamXav - Anti-Virus to keep my Windows friends from getting viruses

Android

• Speedx 3D full&free – game with simple but nice graphics
• Jet Car Stunts Lite – platform racing game
• Tweakers.net – Nice application to read the news on the Dutch tech site tweakers.net
• Keyboard from Android 2.3+ – Standard gingerbread keyboard with support for external dictionairies (like dutch)
