I added 2 tools I use a lot lately, KeePassX for managing my passwords and Homebrew to install tools that are normally available on my Linux workstation like wget and pwgen.

I can never remember the keyboard shortcut to make a screenshot in Mac OS X. That’s why I use InstantShot! It’s a small and very useful app to make screenshots. Give it a try!

Update: Doesn’t work in OS X Lion. So I guess I just need to remember the screenshot shortcut: COMMAND-SHIFT-4 and then hit SPACE

I updated my list of favourite apps to include Android apps. You can find them here. I hope it will be useful for new Android users.

Been playing the guitar for some time and I’m getting the hang of it. Can play a few songs. Here are my favorites:

I have some problems playing the Bm but practice makes perfect!

Yesterday I found a great site, it’s called Album Reminder and it reminds you of new album releases of your favorite bands. You can enter your favorite artists or import it from iTunes. You can also just copy & paste artists from other sites like last.fm. (last.fm allows you to copy your favorite artists to the clipboard)

I haven’t had a reminder yet, but I will report back if I get one.
